Justification
1 rep max test
The 1 rep max test gauges the athlete’s current strength
level for the specific muscle group. With this knowledge the result of 1 rep
max testing we can use the results to prescribe the precise weight the athlete
can lift at different stages of their strength program.
Speed & Agility
The Speed and Agility tests prescribed above should be
used to test a squash player’s
speed, explosion, body control and their ability to change direction. This is an important part of the game. With the
ability to be more agile and faster on
the court it benefits the player to be more versatile in their shot selection.
